After selecting an email for deletion:
A pop-over appears and remains on screen
I must wait several seconds before continuing
This creates micro-delays that accumulate to a frustrating experience
The interruption makes the app feel less native and fluid
Recommendation
The email should disappear immediately after tapping delete, with:
Background processing of the deletion
No visible pop-over unless an error occurs
Automatic return to inbox if deletion fails
A smoother, more native-feeling experience
These small UI improvements would significantly reduce friction and improve the app's usability, making me more likely to continue using it.
